UEFA Women's Euro commentator announcement

It was announced last week that I'll be part of the team calling the UEFA Women's Euro for ESPN this summer! After calling the final in 2017, I've been looking forward to this for a LONG time, and it's been quite a process, so even though it was no surprise by this point, it was awesome to see the official announcement.

I'm thrilled to be part of our coverage of this tournament, incredibly proud to work with such an amazing group, and looking forward to a month of exciting games.

Please join us all month on ESPN networks, mostly ESPN2, with games at noon (11:30am pregame) and 3pm (2:30pm pregame) ET most days. My games are currently scheduled on ESPN2 the week of July 11-15. I'll share more when (if??) there's time.

USA-Costa Rica highlights

I had the privilege of calling the US women's national team's final game of 2019 on Sunday, a 6-0 cruise against Costa Rica that was most notable as the second game for new US head coach Vlatko Andonovski as he prepares the US for Olympic qualifying that starts in late January.

It was some adjustment to go from college soccer venues that mostly have fewer than 4,000 seats to calling a game in an 80,000-seat football stadium. Let's just say binoculars came in handy! But a true joy to cover this team for my only ESPN2 game of the fall and to work with Julie Foudy again. Here are the highlights:

This game should get a much longer post from me in the near future, because I think it will go down as one of the most memorable games in European Women's Championship history, but I'm so happy and excited to have called it that I wanted to post the quick highlights here. Soccer Sunday on ESPN highlights

Had the chance to call Portland-Houston on ESPN2 on Sunday night, and in front of the always great Providence Park crowd, we had a wide-open game, a dramatic comeback, and a decisive disputed call. Check it out:
